John Fox is Denver's new head coach

I doubt he hires Davidson again so we will see whether it was Fox's offense or Davidson's. FWIW that offense was designed to use a few basic sets and run all kind of plays out of them. In fact it was supposed to use the same set as earlier in the game and when defenses figured they knew what was coming based on the alignment, the offense was designed to cross them up by throwing when they looked like they were running and vice versa.

That was the theory. The practice was they were totally predictable and very vanilla as you said. I will be interested to see who they get to coach the offense. Somehow I think Elway will have a big hand in that.

I heard the leading candidate was Mora.

I just want everyone on here to know that Brandon LaFell is the biggest douche bag on the Panthers. On Twitter he said "Who Dat?" to someone and I responded by saying "a Carolina Panther should never say "Who Dat" and then he tweeted me back and said "Don't get blocked!". I said "Wow you're cocky aren't you. Don't worry I'm unfollowing you right now. Learn how to catch the damn ball!" and he blocked me before I could even unfollow him. I'm not ticked because he blocked me, I'm ticked that this guy is so self-righteous that he feels I'm blessed that I'm able to follow him.

BRANDON LAFELL YOU ARE A DOUCHE BAG!

I think you are.

John Fox is a good head coach. He turned us around with the #2 pick in the draft, don't think he'll do any less with the broncos. This last year certainly can't be completely attributed(or even mostly attributed) to Fox. We were making cuts with personnel(that seems to be continuing considering we may not sign ANY of out free agents this year...) and well Jimmy Pickles was QB.

He'll get them to 8-8 in no time.

Knew he would get a job somewhere. While he might have lost his spark here, I hope he finds it out there in Denver. My brother is a Broncos fan, so I'm trying to soften the blow by suggesting that his defense and run game might improve

I don't think Elway is going to give Fox the opportunity to screw up whomever they go with at QB.

But despite how things fell apart here, in my opinion he's a good player's coach that the team will always try for. Maybe that's what Denver needs, who knows. I don't care, I've never liked them nor Elway D:<

    • Exactly He's played two seasons and started 28 games. He's well beyond the point of being able to point to 2 or 3 games and being able to say, "THAT is the QB he is and will be in the future" Of course he can get there, but anyone trying to use just those couple of games to rank his place amongst the games QB's today and their full career's worth of playing at that level, is just asinine. Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, Burrow, Hurts, Herbert, Daniels, Stafford, Goff, Geno, Purdy, Baker, Love, Dak, Tua, Kyler, Lawrence That's 17 QB's right there that have played better over their careers than Bryce has played at his best.  And I'm not saying they're all studs or guys I'd want to be our QB moving forward, Tua for example I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole, but his body of work is a million times better than Bryce's has been. It's also not including any of the other QB's drafted in 2023/2024 other than Daniels. So again, say you believe in Bryce, say you think he's going to prove he can and should be our QB of the future, that's all fair and totally fine. But nobody can say he's been an above average QB in his career thus far, it's just an asinine notion.
    • I'd think we could get one of those from Dallas for... whatever.
