Does anybody here Listen to the Frank and Moose show on WFNZ?

Buck wasn't fired, he quit. Hence why they had him back as a guest on Brett Jensen's show last week.

And I don't know if I like Moose better than Buck on air. It's nice to have two guys on that show now that form complete sentences, but I'm finding that Buck was more entertaining than Moose is.

I like to listen to FNZ because they really represent the public face of Joe fan. Its good to hear from somebody who has actually played the game comment on NFL and the Panthers, lends some credibility to what they discuss. If you can put aside the few jokers that call in as regulars during the Pacman era, you usually get some decent opinions.

Frank is a moron, but at least with Moose we get somewhat intelligent talk. Buck was a pain to listen to. I don't care how you grew up or where, it's time to learn how to speak. Former players on the radio are great...maybe once a week...as a guest. But having two try and host a show? Brutal. Thankfully Moose comes off as a pro, though he is a tad dull.

I can't thank WFNZ enough for not letting Pacman come back. He was the worst thing I've ever heard in my life. The new guys are pretty standard, but damn it's lightyears better than that cocky, biggoted, redneck reject.

Mac will always be my favorite because he entertains me. Why he didn't get the afternoon slot I'll never know.

In regards to the question of who listens to the show...

'

these are two of the dumbest mutherfvckers I have ever heard on the radio. Frank serves no purpose to anything anywhere as far as I can tell. He's that ******* stupid. Buck can give player perspective that is interesting sometimes cuz he "keep zit real" with the audience but his butchering of the King's English frustrates the poo outta me.

If this thread discusses any idea or tangental rambling originating on the F&B show it's a waste of time.

Buck is gone. Moose took his place (and the show is a lot better for it).

    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
    • Very true on the length but stuff like this is never where we shine. We aren’t a good team at drafting.
    • Homerism aside, the more I see from Dan, the more impressed I am.  His player evaluation instincts. Last year his 2 premier FA signings, Hunt and Lewis COMPLETELY changed the line and I have a feeling his success in choosing blue chip guys will continue.  Look at the panthers’s rep for FA signings in the past. By and large, it’s been guys 1 year past their prime who had an injury and suckered our GM in to a crippling contract. We never get nice things. When was the last time this team signed 2 young blue chip studs  in the same offseason to contracts worthy of their impact? Ever?  Im telling y’all, players respect and trust Morgan.
