His mind is younger than his body is. No one can escape age-related degeneration. The eyes become weak, the ears hard of hearing, the muscles lose their stamina, the joints become weak, the bones soft, the heart frail, the brain not as active, the teeth start falling, the hair start graying and falling and so on. He wouldn't last long before he'd retire again.

Actually I copied this from a website that describes what starts to happen when one reaches the age of fifty. I'm fifty and some of that stuff is happening but by all means not all. I do agree that the muscles lose stamina, the joints become weak and the bones softer, but each individual is different. Herschel would be taking a constant full body beating and I truly don't think his body could take that at fifty. I would love for him to prove me wrong because I would be right there in his corner rooting for him should he choose to attempt a comeback! :hurray:

      I mean not surprised the Patriots took him in and aren't trying to push him out. They've been the most morally bankrupt team in the NFL for a long while. Wouldn't be surprised if Vrabel has his own dirt on Kraft/Brady and other assholes from that organization over the last couple decades.
