Those are the guys who JR had out to his house prior to the 2007 season. One might also argue that it was bad luck too. Pep had a subpar year in 2007, Jake got hurt and missed 13 games and faced a potentially career ending injury, Foster had a year of struggles, Smitty didn't have an ideal set of circs for him to perform his best. Gross is the only one who escaped scot free, but HE then missed the first games of HIS Panthers career in 2008. And of course we know what happened to poor Big Cat.
