Well you can take , Tank johnson, and Damien Lewis off the list, I think we all know Pat williams but he's been in the trench's a while now. I think Gary Gibson was on our roster not long ago so if that's the case, take him off as well but I could be wrong about gibson. Look's like D.Landri and E.Johnson might be going to another team unless we get suprised and they bring one of them back. Desmond Bryant maybe? Just don't know many of the name's on the list myself.

Look's like badass know's a few, what stand's out to you about Watson and Mebane?

I looked them up other than that I haven't really heard much about either one. Maybe he has but from my view Watson would definately be the 1 technique and would also fit well in our 3-4 schemes that we run because he has played with the Cardinals all his career (he has 5 seasons) he started a full season in 2007 but hasn't started a game after that. Mebane looks like a consistent starter for the seahawks he has 10 career sacks his best season being in 08 where he had 5.5 sacks 39 tackles 1 od and 2 FF he has had 2.5 sacks since then. Mebane is in his 4th season and is 26 years old while Watson is 27 years old. That's about as much as I can tell you maybe badass can tell us a bit more

I want Gabe Watson because he's absolutely massive and I think he'll be hungry to make a come back after falling down the depth chart in ARZ. I think he could transition to the 4-3 well. He could be had for a good price I think. Low risk high reward. We need a big guy to take some blockers off our LB's and free up Landri. Mebane was one of the premier DT's this year.

Then I want to get Phil Taylor in the draft to get another beefy DT for insurance.

That make's sense badass, I agree with you about Phil Taylor, I hope he's still on the board when we get the chance. Thank's for the info badass, look's like Jack want's Coefield. I just hope we get one who can make a BIG impact on that line.

Giants will be hard pressed to resign Cofield.. He is my #1 choice and highly doubt Giants can go anywhere close to a bidding war..

Mebane would be my 2nd choice, he's an absolute beast.. it'll be interesting to see how easy he is to pull out of Seattle though. Question really comes down to would he rather play for Rivera or Pete Carroll? I think we'll be able to start asking that question more and more and coming up with Rivera as a reasonable answer.. Also, I'm not sure where Pete Carroll's head is at. if he has a brain at all, he'll throw money at Mebane.. but still, that might not be something on the top of his list. regardless, we have money to see how bad Seattle wants Mebane around.. at least drive the price up a bit if we have to..

If we can sign either of those, I wouldn't stop there.. Go after Abrayo Franklin and Gabe Watson.. Franklin is 29, and up there.. but a solid #2. same could apply to Gabe Watson, he's likely to lose his gig to a draft pick from last year.. he's had weight issues, but he dropped 30lbs before this past season started.. now weighing around 330..

then, re-sign Derek Landri.. he played well last year and would only be expected as a reliever.. we then could draft a 3rd round DT (if one is available), and coach him up without expecting much his first 2 years..

This would be my 1st choice to address the DT position... what the Panthers will do is yet to be seen..

    • As far as elite/elevate talent QB’s It’s Allen Mahomes Jackson and Burrow that’s it.  Then we have tiers and those can be debated all day Dak is a good QB but I know this board would want him out of Charlotte if he was the QB here. 2 playoff wins in 10 years. Justin Herbert no playoff wins. Threw 4 interceptions in last years playoff game. 23 TD passes last year. 20 the year below and 25 the year before that. This board loves stats without context and these stats aren’t saying they’re much above complimentary  Kyler Murray isn’t good. I’m not sure how he made this list.  Caleb Williams, Trevor Lawrence both benefiting from some real good offensive coaches right now. They’re both complimentary pieces until proven otherwise  I like Jordan Love. Always have. I wanted to draft him but he isn’t a superstar.  CJ Stroud hasn’t been much better than Bryce after his rookie season. After that Bears game year 2 his numbers very similar to Bryce I will say I think Drake Maye is well on his way to becoming the next top tier QB if I had to pick one from this entire list. I’d also say Baker Mayfield is a damn good QB and I’d take him over most of those guys not in the elite category  Now if you want to debate tools and which QB’s possess tools to put them in higher tiers that’s a completely different discussion. Most QB’s on your main list all have those physical tools that will keep you thinking he’ll become the next top tier QB. They’ll sprinkle in a “wow” play or two a game. Bryce will never look that way. Young’s game at its peak will physically always look different and I think that’s where most people struggle when it comes to seeing how Young’s can be successful in the league  All QB’s need a team around them. I think the Bills are failing Josh Allen much like the Panthers did Cam. Beane and McDermott using same blueprint with Bills team. Josh Allen hasn’t had much in terms of WR’s and it’s ultimately costing them when it matters the most
