OH NO CLINTON ALMOST RAN UP STEVE'S LEGS AS I TYPED THE TITLE!

Steve-has 2 catches 37 yds. as of right now and the announcer said he may be the angriest chippiest guy in the NFL.

Peppers-Has a sack and one really good pressure where the opposing lineman looked as if he was on skates... I really don't know whether to cheer for him or not:incazzato:

Also a good stop on about 3rd & 4

Gross-Pretty good protection; one play he made the QB get hurried.

Beason-No tackles but has been around the ball.

I know most don't care about this but anything they do I watch and support...c/ August is a LONG way away.:svengo:

(interrupts Peppers c/ he isn't giving him an answer) ok. then what D would you want to play for:

any defense that's right for me any team that's interesting.

Jenkins former pro bowler that wanted out of Carolina at all cost

Peppers pro bowler that wants out of Carolina at all cost

Don't be mad at Peppers

Fox & Co have now lost not one but 2 Pro Bowlers

Something smells at the head of this

I think the lesson we learn from pep and Jenk is that just cause you have talent dose not make you a good Football player. Both are hot and cold in there play and that was when they cared. I think too many people have told them that they were great.

... something like bullshit.

How do you figure we had one of the best locker rooms in the league, but Fox has lost the team? 2 pro bowlers left, out of how many star players? Big fuging deal.

Hey, maybe tomorrow we can find another way to come up with ridiculous statements without any basis..

    • I mean, if Moore really wants out, then it would behoove the Bears to make it happen sooner than later. X is a lot younger and cheaper, and may be a better fit for Johnson's musings than a disgruntled, unnecessary, overpaid vet. If they can dump his salary and maybe get a fourth or so in return, it may be worth it to them. As for development, I'm not concerned. You're talking about a seeming bust, a day three guy and a UDFA. They are developing relative to their ceilings. I doubt any of them will ever command the coverage, money, or the respect that Moore has acquired. He's a tier above them. Yes, even X.
    • IMO, if Ceedee plays against us, the game probably goes the other way. Same with Tyreek Hill and the Dolphins. Our team just isn't designed to beat teams with two high level receivers like that. But when you look at the league, how many teams really have two guys of that caliber?  There's nothing wrong with defensive adjustments, but sometimes I think a lot of fans want Evero to call a different play like a game on madden, and defensive football just isn't like that. That said, I thought we did a much better job this season against the Cowboys of flipping Jaycee and at least making them work for it, opposed to last season when they literally just lined CeeDee up on the other side of the field every single snap.  For us to just straight up switch to consistent man coverage, or a different zone, or whatever, we likely would consistently need different personnel on the field. Doing it a few times a game is a gamble and can work, but if we consistently run man coverage against the Cowboys, eventually a RB is going to beat a linebacker, or something of that nature with our personnel. Part of the reason Evero likes this scheme is that, while we have our defaults and presets, what we do is very multiple, and you can do a lot of different things pre and post snap. We are a challenging defense to read. But as you said, if guys are getting beat, it doesn't really matter what you call.
