Well it's not like it would hurt us in any way. We often know what player is going #1 well before the draft because they're already negotiating the contract.

I can almost promise you that by April 28th, someone with a top 5 pick will have developed a major hard-on for either Cam Newton or Blaine Gabbert and they will be begging us to trade the pick with them if we make them believe we're going to take their guy.

I could see the Bengals at # 3 trading the pick with us to snag either Newton or Gabbert based on the Carson Palmer situation... and there's already precedent for us trading out of the # 1 pick with the Bengals.

Has to be QB. As bad as our DTs were last year they pale in comparison to our QB play. Also FA is more then likely not going to happen we will need a better QB then Clausen.

In '95 the Bengals swapped their 5th and 36th overall picks for our 1st pick and drafted a HB (LOL)

I could see them giving us their 3rd and 35th overall picks to move up to the 1st pick if they wanted someone bad enough.
