On the flipside, despite being expected to pass, the proposal to ban the "tush push" play actually failed, reportedly due to some last minute politicking from the Eagles.

Mind you, the results did come down to a razor thin margin...

Would seem the Panthers voted to ban it.

Onside kick definitely needs some love.  It's way too hard to pull off the with the latest changes.

It was already a high risk low reward play.  Why change it?

I hated that too.

And I'm not interested in any "player safety" bullsh-t coming from a league that keeps trying to add more games and refuses to prioritize grass playing surfaces.
