did a 20 min with Gold. Wow. He said a lot. Felt like he wants KK gone. Said he has had convos with GMET and Dundon and we WILL be swinging for fences with the 30 mill. Very exciting to hear him talk about what’s to come this off-season.

KK contract isn’t that much of the cap but 4+ AAV for the level of play this past year is ass.

This sounds like he's pissed and I love it. He knows what we have in our core and doesn't want to squander it. Our core is too good for us to not have a Cup appearance at least. Our bottom 6 need a rework. We need scoring and we need guys who can break the monotony in the offensive zone without breaking the discipline of the system entirely. We need guys who want to score more than they want to not fug up (looking squarely at Aho here). 

 

We need more points production. Aho is on par with an aging Ovechkin but we need more. Svech showed flashes of an Evgeni Malkin type but he has to do it each game, not for a quarter of the season. Goddamn I miss Necas.

Rod is getting tired of losing with good to mid players and finally wants some elite guys.

Wants Burns back but admitted they put too much on him by putting him on the first pair and that he should be on 2nd or maybe even third.

Burns on the PK was elite. No one can argue that facts. I’m ok bringing Burnzy back being on the 3rd line.
