I don’t mind her…that’s the gorgeous Stephanie Ready. She has a history with us.

I do not mind the side line reporter for females, not one bit. Just stay from either lead play-by-play chair or color role.

Stephanie Ready is great and shocked she hung around. Michele Tafoya is the godmother of that role and if not for her I would be against that too. They are good in small bits and updates, but not the full mic time. I mean this is summer league and all, but I much prefer men commentators........ I would trade about any female for Joe buck tho..... Who knows, I havnt heard enough new ones to change my mind.

I was waiting for you to slink your way into the conversation to try and make it about Bryce Young 🤣🤣

Suffice to say even Bryce got the benefit of the doubt through his rookie camp.

"Why is Kon so different from any draft pick we've trotted out over the years? You act like he's your brother in law. These are just conversations. It's not like any of us has any say. You're entitled to your opinion same as anyone else is entitled to theirs."

Dunking (HA!) aside, the team looks like they're going to be a lot of fun watching develop and challenge next season. I was really only excited about Kalkbrenner, but seeing KJ light it up, McNeeley surprise, Kon respond, and Tidjane's ascension... shoot... it was an easy choice to snag eight tickets for the preseason game vs. OKC down here in Charleston in October. 😄

Man you have dug in so hard on this I don't think you even know which way is up anymore.

Knueppel is 19 years old. Nineteen.

Bryce Young is going to be 24 years old in about a week and getting set to begin his 3rd season as a pro.

Adam Thielen is going to be 35 yesrs old in August.

Do I really need to stop and hold your hand and explain to you the striking difference between the players you're trying to draw situational parallels to because you're in your feelings about fans having expectations for Bryce Young?

Get a grip bud......

I will admit this- Kon doesn't look or play like a 19 year. Much bigger and filled out than I thought he was. Plus initiate the offense during his best quarter and he did make some good passes for FG attempts.

I watch NBA years ago and was a top 3 fantasy yahoo managers for years. Many times a player had like 30 points, it mostly came from one or 2 hot quarters. The others were 5 and 0, so his 16 point game is normal in that regard.

If Ball, bridges, and Miller allow Kon to be apart of the team, just depends on if he clicks of not. Another generic white guy comp popped in my head........he of hornet lore-Gordon Hayward

15 points

5 rebs

3.5 asst

Maybe??

Yes, remind us all how patient you are with rookies by giving up on them after just one season instead of during the offseason. 🙃

No idea what Adam Thielen has to do with any of this, but go off?

Yeah many NBA players are streaky now. We've had plenty of those here.

For Kon it's too early to say but based on what I've seen and his interviews I think if he wants to be really good or great and to get to the highest level he will. Of course that's the story of many of our players over the years. The talent is there. The desire to be great wasn't. We'll see if these new rookie additions have that in them. Hopefully. But it is the Hornets after all. The skepticism is valid.

As far as Gordon Hayward. I can say without a doubt that he never wanted to be good or great. He was one of the many newer generations of players that have the prerequisite talent and want the money and allure of being an athlete but do not care one way or another if they win or lose.
