I don't think a scheme change is going to help him out much... We ran plenty of 4-2-5 nickel while he was here and he looked terrible when he was out there on those downs

He played better in a 4-3 IMO. He is useless as a 3-4 NT. He doesn't have the ability flat out for that scheme.

You dont know what you are looking at. The guy in the middle playing straight up on the center is a NT. It doesn't get any more clear.

With 2 ends without their hands in the dirt on the outside. You do get that a 3-4 NT isn't the same as a 4-3 NT right?

Probably, but the dude is at his best a last player on the roster kind of guy. We have played a lot of nickel/big nickel under Evero - it's not like he never had the chance to play on an even front for us. The guy struggles to eat blocks, shoot the gap, tackle, bull rush/swim past blocks, etc. Like he honestly has no trait of football I would call above average (and most I wouldn't even call average). He overachieved in 2022 and we stupidly gave him a 3 year deal off of 1 ok year

Yeah he definitely isn't good. Which makes him an Evero NT I guess

    • I know it was obvious and I know the ref is to blame! But KB is a bum and my original post was about the situation in its entirety. You are right, he did touch him and that's why I said lay down on him to make it obvious. But KB did everything half assed and that is why he had less than a five year career. But the way Cam supported that kid and the way he ended up acting in the end is a dark spot on the franchise. It just doesn't sit well with me and never will. He literally left here talking about ball placement from a league MVP.
    • The Lee Hunter interview with Sheena Quick almost murdered me. That man said he had a 5 years old and a 2 munt year old!! 😂 and all of a sudden I couldn’t breathe!!
    • DLine has to be 50-79 or 90-99. So it’s likely to stay 92 over 62 or 52. Scourton and Phillips can wear a poo ton of numbers as “linebackers”, but the war daddy’s are still pretty limited.
