Mcshay was on the bill simmons pod yesterday and breaks down a lot of the qb prospects.  Loves the oregon kid, still likes lsu kid a lot as well.  Not high on Allar at all.

With Fernadez he says he plays in RPO quick decision offense and its hard to evaluate him because of the 30 throws a game maybe 5 are nfl worthy.   But he is big strong and mobile.

I absolutely will be watching Indiana vs iowa today

Oregon vs PSU should be 2 QB prospects going at it. I do like Moore a lot, but I’d be surprised if he declares as a redshirt sophomore.

Just going on eye test without looking at stats or metrics or whatever

Mateer looks and plays like Herbert and Mayfield.

Mendoza reminds me of Mariota, I would be worried about him the most in the NFL. Just kinda that same offense Mariota was in, it may take a while to transition

Sellers, some mix of Cam Ward and Roethlisberger, if he could be accurate passing downfield... the rest of this season is critical but as of right now I would be worried if we took him as well

Nussmeier reminds me of Kirk Cousins

I want no part of Manning, Allar or the Clemson guy

What did you think?  Iowa arguably has one of the stingiest defenses year in and year out.  Not the pristine stat line Mendoza had been putting up, but a more realistic one. That said, not too shabby at all.  One of the best defenses he will see all season and on the road.

Two passes tells me this kid has what it takes--2:07 and 6:25. Yeah, he had a pick while getting blown up on an A gap blitz, but still was just slightly high.  This kid's accuracy is freaking rare.  Both of his miscues were results of OL failures.

Most QBs would be satisfied with the numbers for this game.  This is a poor outing for Mendoza.

Check out Dante Moore vs Penn St on the road.
