Brock Purdy is making 53 million per season. Geno Smith is making more per season than Darnold.

Rodgers wasn't going to sign there with a 10th overall pick breathing down his neck. He saw what happened to Cousins in Atlanta.

I don't know why you're arguing with me like I'm pounding the table for Darnold. All I'm saying is they had other options and 30 million a season for a starting QB is not that much anymore. Dak Prescott is the highest paid QB this year with 60 million.

Furthermore. Even Daniel Jones went out and blew the doors off the Dolphins on Sunday. The Vikings have one of the two best WR's in the league. They just made a dumb decision.

You must not have followed the offseason. Rodgers was begging for the Vikings to sign him, he loved their roster and the idea of being able to stick it to the packers twice a year. That’s why he waited so long to sign with Pittsburgh, because he hoped Minnesota would reconsider. But ultimately the Vikings wanted to try to avoid the circus that comes with Rodgers. We will see if it’s right but they already saw what was behind door number one with darnold.

Dude's a big ass TE and for some reason was trying to win a race to the pylon instead of just lowering his shoulder and getting a yard.

Yeah he easily could have just turned north and caught that db at an awkward angle

Green Bay is gonna have an easy ticket to the division championship if these two window lickers are really this bad.  Detroit looks like they might have a down year.

Somehow it feels like the Bears are gonna do something absurdly stupid and hand this game to the Vikings. It's felt like that all night. They should've been up 20 at half

    • If you need someone to run your multi-billion dollar business, maaayyyybe don't hire a guy whose previous work experience includes repeated blows to the head and literal brain damage but IDK.
    • Extrapolate that with every QB for that matter. I guarantee you there's quite a bit of missed opportunities and yards left on the field for everyone. Many NFL QBs deal with WRs not putting in A+ effort, subpar o-line play and other deficiencies. The great ones are able to rise above these issues and create opportunities for plays. Guys like Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes can both play in and out of structure, as well as find ways to get yards when things break down and mask mistakes by throwing guys open, creating opportunities from nothing, etc. Bryce Young has only shown he's able to make things happen when the rest of the team picks up his slack. Very rarely does he create those opportunities himself. When this is a consistent pattern year after year with Bryce where he shows up lackluster, it's a concern. This is year three and he should be elevating the team as a first overall pick this franchise traded up for.  He was far from elevating anyone against JAX. In fact, he needed others to elevate and create for him. Excuses may be fine for a rookie, but this is year three for the first overall pick. Not looking good so far.
    • I think the worst issue is coaching. Countless bad snaps, XL not getting his feet in or trying on runs plays, our centre being down field when he didn't need to be. All seem to be from poor coaching for me. I believe Canales is to soft to rip the players a new one when the fug up. Plus I honestly believe that Canales is slow getting his plays in giving Bryce less time to diagnose and adjust to the defence. Don't worry I could of head butted Bryce for that fumble and the 4th down throw aways but the other plays are explainable to me
