Bro he isnt better then Lawrence, Tua, Murray and most certainly not hurts.  But the others being debatable is kindof our point.  The others are making our point about where bryce exactly is talent and development wise in the nfl.

Well I disagree. He'd have more passing yards than Hurts on Philly. Tua in Miami. Lawrence in JAX and Murray in Arizona. That's my opinion. None of them are blowing him out of the water right now, and they have more established receivers.

I just said as a passer because that's been the argument right? He can't make throws. He can't make the right decisions. He can't throw over 30 yards. Honestly doesn't change anything for me. None of those guys are scary enough runners that it makes a difference. Except Murray. That little mofo is a blur! Hurts is a great short yards option as well.

some QBs can do more than pass and it's about being a QB.   So you can't cut the diversity in everyone's game out of the equation just because Bryce's size makes it all a bad idea for him.

First down is a first down.  TD is a TD.  If some QBs are very good at picking those up on the ground they matter.  Chains move.  O keeps getting produced.

Dudes like Trevor got more first down picks up the ground than any Panther RB.  Being built to go up the middle, take got contact, get a first and survive matters.  You don't have to be Lamar Jackson for ability and attributes to do things besides passing to matter.

I agree 100%. Cam wasn't the most polished passer and rarely threw with anticipation. But he was all around the baddest dude on the field every game.

I just thought the argument was about passing. Actually think BY is very underrated as a runner. When he isn't fumbling the dang ball. Hopefully he's gotten that out of his system.

You can't be serious

So if you have a good running back, that helps a guy catch the ball and get his feet in bounds? That helps a guy go up and catch with 2 hands instead of trying to one hand it and drop? That helps a guy get open in man because you gave him an extra .5 second?

Goddamn dude if you don't think a good oline and good running game doesn't help set up the passing attack I'm not sure what to tell you.  And Bryce has the better ones of all those except maybe hurts

No he doesn't. He's had the better running game the last 2 weeks. But not his career. Geez. If we're going that route, then how does the defense play into the equation? Pretty big too if going by that approach. How has this defense been the last 2 seasons and first 3 of this year?

Right now, off the top of my head I'd put him above:

McCarthy

Russell Wilson

Jalen Hurts

Justin Fields

Spencer Rattler

Kyler Murray

Maybe Trevor Lawrence

Tua

Maybe Caleb Williams

Penix

Cam Ward

I'm not looking at stats. I'm thinking more on the lines of if you traded teams, would BY be able to do more there and would the other QB be able to do more in Carolina - as a passer.

Hurts? HURTS?! Super Bowl MVP Hurts? 2x Pro Bowler Hurts? 2nd team All-Pro Hurts?

GTFO of here with that nonsense. LOL

And you could see it pre draft, just go look at his pro day.  At the end where he starts throwing deep he has to use his whole body, it's really ugly and looks like a shot put.  Then when you see Stroud at the combine throwing the same distance just flicking his wrist. I don't understand what the Panthers saw in Bryce

The Panthers didn't see anything.  I think Mrs. Tepper saw, and felt, butterflies.  That's all it took.

I think I get it now. Some of yall think a QB is the end all be all of a team's passing success. To me, they're just a bigger cog in the machine. One player can ruin a pass play for a QB. One. One player on any pass can completely ruin a play for a QB. One guard's block. One tackle's block. One TE's block or drop or bad route. One WR drop or bad route. One RB block or bad route. QB is THE single most dependent position on the football field. The team determines a QB's success.
