can't let an undrafted RB on a 1 year deal steal the spotlight on MNF

It was about showcasing Bryce and Canales offensive genius mind to the world

well, he all but indicated that in his press conference   He wanted his passing offense to ‘come alive’

however, there  where so many mistakes on offense besides Bryce, per film review done by some podcasters I respect in the All 22

Young, missing reads, throwing off his back foot continuously, late with throws    We are in year 3….enough

receivers and Young thinking it’s one route and it was another

Tet dropping critical passes…I’ll tell ya, I’m over this one.  Top 10 pick, pretend you are Malik neighbors or Jefferson and catch the damned ball

…and the ever so popular Legette, ballerina that he is, stepping out of bounds,,again

they need a veteran receiver out there and they don’t have it…I get the concept of wanting young and the receivers to grow together but young has to grow first, and it is ending year 3   One thing about Thielen, he was always where he was supposed to be, he seldom dropped passes and he had no problem keeping his feet in bounds

What these guys do in practice together, no idea

Letting Bryce “prove it again” was the best way to eliminate any confusion for people thinking Bryce is the answer after the previous game. It shouldn’t be needed, but for some reason it was. This finally made the media buy in on what most of us already knew. So, while the game was terrible, this is the one strong positive coming out of it.

I mean this is just meaningless to me. What a worthless comparison.

How so?  You are trying to say that DC is an idiot for only running Rico seven times as if that contributed to losing the game.  DC tried to do exactly what the Rams did with great success.  The difference isn’t the RB, coach or game plan.  Give you 3 guess what the difference really is.

    • The pattern of what we've done before, during and after the trade and selection of Bryce points to Tepper being involved in his selection and continued presence as the unquestioned starter. Pickett sucked in Philly, he just didn't start. If he hadn't sucked, Pittsburg wouldn't have gotten rid of him as a 1st round QB. Grier is so bad we already cut him once. He offers zero upside. There were FA QBs available last season that we could have gotten over Dalton who actually outperformed Bryce. The bar is low, ridiculously low. But we keep adding people who have proven they are below that bar.  Bryce is a bottom tier QB. We should be actively looking to improve the roster. You can say virtually no QB3s and few QB2s could challenge Bryce. That's true. But it also means there may be some that can. We're not looking for those guys. We should be. They could definitely challenge a KP or Grier.  The goal is winning seasons and winning the division. Relying on the Falcons to win so you can get into the playoffs with a losing record in a weak division isn't a recipe for success.
    • Man oh man talk about getting it wrong coming And going. Have two viable arms and don’t stay the course so you draft a noodle arm that stands on his tippy toes to see, they make us go the full 5 years waiting for him to pan out.
    • I guess it's so we don't have to force a UDFA QB to be in serious consideration for QB3.  QB4 will be just a camp arm and maybe a stash on the PS if he looks half way decent. They will not bring in competition for Bryce if you haven't figured that out by now.  He's either going to sink or swim.  The next QB with a legit arm on this team will be when we move on from Bryce.  I think this is the ramifications from the Darnold/Mayfield debacle.
