NC state championship games

I should've posted this earlier but all the NC high school state championship football games are being streamed on YouTube. Watauga just beat Middle Creek for the 6A championship. Hough in Cornelius won the 8A game last night. Next up at 8 is the 7A game featuring Grimsley which is the #12 ranked team in the nation with the #1 QB recruit in the country.

Been to a few Grimsley games this year and they have some great players.

QB will be at Tennessee next year and looks legit. Always fun to see how they get on when they meet players just as good and big as them……but he gave me some holy poo moments with some throws this year.

I love ball. Watching other people compete in athletics is kinda weird, period if we're being completely honest. If anything, it might be weirder watching adults making millions to play kids' games.

I’ll give it to you. I’m not interested in all levels of ball or even watching a full 3 games on Sunday anymore.

Do you not get burnt out on the game after watching so much of it?

Now granted, most games I "watch" its basically on in the background while I'm doing other stuff.

Clayton straight up whooped Grimsley on the opening "drive". Grimsley ran three plays for -14 yards to go three and out.

Clayton put up 7 with no problem. Grimsley on notice.

Haven't followed HS football in years but seems like the NCHSAA has watered down the playoffs, 8A? 7A? 

I remember 4 classification, what's the reasoning from going away from 4A or 4AA system?
