Bryce is elite at deep throws

It is 8th in attempts for "big time throws". There was no confusion on my part. And personally, I like the stat not because it makes Young look good, but because it shows/measures a QBs' attempts to make something out of nothing.

We just have a difference of opinion on its value. No big deal.

that stat also doesn’t reflect….trying to make something  out of nothing.  It’s gobbly goo.  And clearly contains very normal Bryce Young passes…..simply because of the coverage and ball placement.   Which is why he ends up with a lot of them.  So a decently covered 5 yard route he opts to throw can log as ….a “big time throw”

the entire point, OP and the X post everything initially done is misrepresenting PFF in info to attempt to sell Bryce as a player that anyone who watches him knows he isn’t

He is not a deep ball passer.  Thats not his game.  He barely throws deep and is managed heavily when he does.  It is what it is.   Not sure about this need to pretend he is a deep ball passer.

With the amount of time he had in the pocket and how wide open Higgins was I could of hit that throw

Certain people get agitated when remarks like this are made about Bryce so maybe let's be a little more consistent here. It was a great play regardless.

Bryce would have bailed the pocket and gone on a 3 yard scramble.  He is tops of the league in killing plays

Great play my ass, that was great pass protection. Higgins isn’t a burner so for him to get that open he needs a lot of time and someone on the opposing defense to have a miscommunication

Not sure why you feel the need to keep on about PFF with me. I've already said I understand what they are measuring.

As far using their stats to measure NFL players, I guess I have a choice. I can listen to you and your "eyes and opinion", or I can listen to PFF and the guys who actually make a living studying football. Nothing personal but it seems like an easy choice to me.

Idk man you are being rather irrational and inconsistent right now.

Do you also feel you could have hit this throw on a touchdown play that was the result of a defensive communication?

How am I being inconsistent? Go look at my post history if you want. That Coker TD wasn’t a good play by Bryce nor Coker, that was all the cowboys defense.

Most of Bryce's most impressive deep passes are under similar circumstances where someone could say it was more of a defensive breakdown if that is your measuring stick now.

You could say the same thing about most QB's. The only time you couldn't is when it was a "big time throw"

🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
