They had a bad half and still pushed a healthy Sixers team with three Superstar players to the brink.

Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game

Yeah we had multiple chances to tie up the game or take the lead. We have made some significant strides as a team shooting threes but this group absolutely needs to get more aggressive in the paint in crunch time if they want to be a playoff team.

For all the praise of the group and Charles Lee being talked up as coach of the year that's just pitiful and unacceptable.

Also adding even more insult to the loss. Apparently Embid is 21-1 against the Hornets.

They haven't learned how to win close games. They beat the ever livin poo out of you or they lose. Now 10-18 in close games, so they've put 29 ass whippings on teams this year. Games are close because the 3 isn't falling but they keep shooting them so they end up losing. They should have been attacking the last 3 minutes however I guess if 2 more of those 3s go in then they win.

Somehow only lost by 4. I think they are at there best when Kon and Melos shooting is more balanced

Also based on usage I don't think Melo plays more than 25 tonight. Probably another loss unfortunately

Doesn't even matter that Hornets can't make a shot to save their lives and they're getting their doors blown off.

No chatter here about the Hornets getting boat raced in what was another de facto playoff game.

Just when I want to believe in this team, they turn back into the same franchise I've known for 40 years.

I still say the Hornets should weigh all their options at head coach after the season. Too much potential on this roster.

Team is young and learning. Twenty wins more this year versus last year. You complain way too much

Realistically as much fun as it has been to see this team bombard teams from 3 it just isn't sustainable for us as a winning formula aside from catching better teams off guard from time to time and it isn't going to translate to a playoff run and certainly not a championship when we are so ineffective in the paint and have no go to answer in that area when games are on the line. The strategy of this franchise entering the offseason should be getting better in the paint. Drill that into everyone's head inside the building. All this rabble about not disrupting chemistry is weak minded. What chemistry? This team is 10th in the standings heading into April. In a historically weakened Eastern conference.

Yeah we need more balance. If threes aren't dropping, you can pretty much mark it down as a loss. That won't work in the playoffs. I think the team will continue to grow and learn and if they can get a better presence in the paint, it would make a world of a difference

We have 5 guys that can attack the paint, they need to do that more when they are ahead in games and the 3 isn't falling instead of doubling down. When they are behind I don't really have a problem with them trying to shoot their way back in it
