Rough game.  Need a goalie but Miller doesn’t look any better defensively than he did day 1

I don't see how Carolina gets out of the 1st round, unless home ice is real good to them.

Maybe a first round exist will be a wake up call. I don’t want it to happen but if it does maybe some changes actually happen.

Caufield is a good player.  Didn't know much about him.  Stanky size with 40 plus goals.

First round exit will cost Tulsky his job.  It’s that simple. Same next year…Rod is gone. 
 

they better hope to at least make it to the SCF. After all the cap room, and did nothing, heads are gonna roll.

Sometimes the things you decide not to do are better than any of the options available.  See acquiring and extending K'Andre Miller.  It would have been better to do nothing.

He shows moments of awesome and moments of horrible.  Like our goalies. Bad mix. If they all don’t improve consistent good play it’s a crap shoot in the playoffs first round.

He has strengths and weaknesses, but one of his weaknesses is being caught out of position in the offensive and neutral zones that lead to odd man rushes and breakaways.

Yep- he will pinch in a minute without knowing if anyone dropped back to cover.

And he would win a lot more board battles if he used his size and strength.

I think he lacks the mental side of the game and relies on his athleticism.   He was a bad defensive signing.  Miller should play bottom minutes.
