Bears at Panthers week 1

I love  almost everything  we did in the offseason but we still have Bryce.  They have to be favored.  
 

Sorry I just can’t see him as an asset yet. 
His first chance to prove me wrong. 
 

And WIliams was a LOT better last year than 2024.  He will probably still be getting better before he hits his plateau.

We have a good chance to win this one as we aren't overmatched talent wise versus the Bears and we're at home. I'm still not sold on Caleb Williams being a good QB, so this is a chance for us to start the season off good. 

If Bryce wants to help convince the fanbase he's worthy of an extension, then he needs to come out of the gates hot and put up some really good stats in a win. So, we can finally put all the talk of the Bryce trade to rest once and for all. 

The one concern I have is this is a heck of a week one play caller match up in Ben Johnson versus Brad Idzik calling his 1st regular season game. Hopefully Darrell Bevell will be able to help out Idzik, and we can let Canales focus on being the HC.
