Everybody keeps assuming that just because the offense sucked last year under Fox and Davidson, it'll suck this year under Rivera and Chudzinski too. Bad assumption.

Also true that if there's a season, we will get free agents (though it may be down the road) so we can't go in thinking that draft picks will be the only additions. Heck, we can't even sign the draft picks with no CBA.

As to the draft, Peterson works for me, but I'm primarily pro-Dareus at the moment.

Assuming the the worst offense in the league will suddenly be good seems like a bigger leap than cam or gabbert being decent. Even if dareus turns our defense into the ravens of the early 2000s we still lose 10-14. Picking anything on defense is like saying oh well were gonna suck this year so lets get another top ten pick next year.

Offense is the problem why wait til next year to fix your biggest weakness? There is no Suh in this years draft so,why not wait til next year to fix the defense which is a smaller problem? If you want to win sooner it seems you'd fix the big holes and plug the leaks as you go along.

A lot of the offense's problem had to do with coaching and the addition of inexperienced rookies.

Our offensive line also went to IR hell.

Well just in case they don't come back right, wouldn't it be nice to have a QB who can move in and out of the pocket and avoid sacks instead of having a QB that took a top 10 rank of 33 sacks last year.

When we play the Saints twice a year who is PP supposed to cover exactly? He is a great player of course but I don't know if there's such a thing as a "shutdown corner" anymore with so many teams playing the spread.

      We put a ton of high draft capital into young WRs over the past few years. We drafted a WR in top 2 rounds of the draft in 4 out of the past 5 years. At some point, we need to rely on the dudes we drafted vs relying on veteran role players. That's the only way we're going to evolve as a team and take the next step to going back to winning again.  Remember when Cam lost KB and everyone thought it was the end of the universe? And 2015 happened.  Maybe losing Theilen and Coker will open some opportunities for some other guys to step up.

      So apparently in the time between the end of the last football season, and now, a TON of streaming sites have been taken down. From what I remember most of these idiotic offiicial streaming services that offer NFL games don't ever offer ALL of the games. I remember subscribing to one service on youtube last season that cost hundreds of dollars and it would still constantly tell me games were either blacked out or unavailable, which is totally ridiculous. Is there any one service that I can watch ALL of the games on?? It gets on my everlasting nerves already that there's so many different streaming sites and they are all expensive as hell. I don't want to take out an entire additional car payment to subscribe to 4 different streaming services to watch all the games. Is there just ONE I can subscribe to? The most comprehensive thing I have access to now is Sirius XM. It's only 10 ish bucks a month and I can listen to the home or away broadcasts of any game. Only thing is I can't WATCH the games but this seriously comes in handy if I'm out doing something, driving, or can't stay still at the moment to watch the games. But usually I'm off on Sundays, so I mostly want to watch them.
