Matt Moore...

Moore was far, far above average in a five game stretch in 2009 and he was a GREAT rookie going 2-1.

While he was decidedly bad this past year, the entire team was hurting. The only time the passing game looked good was against SF too, so he did something right at least.

Moore's stats are average if you count last year in but honestly if you just go on what you saw before last year he is literally the best real FA option there is(this is me assuming most of the big names remain where they are/aren't possible)... if he recovers from his injury well that is.

Moore is better than Jimmy at literally everything in life. Height, arm strength, balls, anything related to anything Moore is better than Jimmy. Then combine that fact with the fact that the offense seems to be tailored to fit Moore's style of play and it is common sense that he'd beat out Jimmy.

Yeah he was just average before this year

Everyone knows

Dude you need too relax. You make alot of statments (with you being a MB GM like everybody else around here) stop acting like you are the end all too be all talent Evaluation expert.

You have no clue like everybody else on here who would win that battle if it happen. They both are learning a new system. They both now have starting exp. I would like too see the battle but in no way I can for sure say this guy or that guy would win and neither can you.

Stop acting like your a paid scout or anybody other then a armchair QB.

You don't have to be a paid scout to use your fuking eyes and make a judgment. Tell me this. Based on what you've seen from Jimmy and what you've seen from Matt over his career, what does Jimmy do better than Matt? What possible way do you see him winning the competition?

This board was so much better when your mom grounded you from the internet

Pretty much this.

There's no reason to not at least bring him to camp and see how he does.

Matt Moore has prove a lot more than Jimmy has. The team respects him more than Jimmy. If we don't bring in a vet, he'll probably be the starter.

You have too be the dumbest clown I have ever met on here.

Your EYES are comparing a 3 year vet who had 3 years of offseason workouts (that bulk player up make them stronger) 3 years of some real game exp. 3 years of working with the same players in the same system with the same coaches. 2 years of vet mentoring. To a rookie with none of these advantages and yes these are advantages. So maybe open your eyes and get Matt's blank out of your mouth and you'll see that they weren't starting from the same point.

Guess what clown matt threw it down field more then Sam bradford. Does that mean he's better then him? Or maybe a person with 3 years of pro exp. has more confidence too go down field.

Starting from pretty much the same point might change things a little do you think?

also realdeal jesus christ, i'd love for moore to do well too but get off his nuts bro.

you're a cool dude and all,but you're almost as bad as the cam nuthuggers.

almost.

The minute I feel we have a better option, I will support that player fully. If Moore is no longer on the roster, I will support the best QB on our roster. I've stated I want them to bring in players that would be better than Moore to play, but there is no sense in lobbying for players or hoping for players to get better that have no chance of beating Moore out.

I want Palmer, Moore, who gives a fug.

Let's look at things that don't require experience in the NFL and compare them using that.

Moore has a better arm

Moore has better size

Better accuracy

Better pocket presence

Bigger balls

And seemingly a better football IQ (he performed better as a rookie with no camp at all with the panthers and coming from two completely different offenses, OSU and DAL where he also played well and played well here as a rookie and Jimmy had a whole camp, a whole college career, and 10 starts and still didn't look as good as Moore as a rookie once)

Moore was good at OSU his senior season, then got a late start in camp at Dal and posted over a 100 QB rating in preseason, then came here and played excellent at the end of the year so during that span he knew 3 playbooks and excelled in all of them. It doesn't matter what offense Moore is in, he plays well.

Moore has a better arm (3 years of offseason training and workouts can make you stronger) But coming out of college no he didn't have a better arm then Jimmy. Show me his scounting report please.Moore has better size (MM 6'3 - 202 /JC 6'2 - 222) Wow such a big differance?????Better accuracy (again maybe knowing the system and the player you play with you can look more accurate just saying)???? Better pocket presence (NFL exp. can help this)

Bigger balls (again more exp. knowing the system and the players you throw too give you bigger balls).

Matt sat most of the season and had Vet mentoring him. Vinny and Jake.

JImmy was thrown into the 3rd game of the season with MATT moore Mentoring him. Should i say anymore????

MM senior year # 3022 Totalyards 18 td 7 int's 139.5 QB rating

JC junior year # (which was he's last year) 3722 totalyards 24 td and 4 int's 161.43 QB rating.

But your right Matt did have no TC with this team.

Atleast Moore had a winning record and Bowl win... just saying.
