I watched 3 episodes of Thumbs Up on Netflix today. Pretty interesting. Documentary about 2 guys and a camera man hitchhiking across the country.

Its a true story. I liked it, but i like all things rock n roll.

You can't go wrong with anything by Akira Kurosawa.

As long as you don't mind having to go through subtitles, I fully recommend "Ran" and "Dreams"

Must spread. Kurosawa's Dreams is hands down my favorite film of all time. Seven Samurai of course, Ran is also great. Not for the average moviegoer though. You need to know what you're getting into.

I've watched subtitled Japanese films before. Mostly horror (they're kings of that right now) but also "Shall We Dance".

I have a thing about that. Generally speaking, if I saw them when they were kids, I'll always see them as kids, no matter how old they get :lol:
