Mentoring young Cam

And that makes him a thug.you might want to go look up what that word means.he didn't steal a laptop either.I'm glad to see you have done nothing wrong.also this is football, not audtions for the choir.

No, he didn't actually steal the laptop but knew what he was buying. He knew what he was doing when he pitched it out the dorm window when cops arrived.

What we do/did has no bearing on it. We're not being looked upon to lift a franchise on and off the field. We're not going to ask 52 other men to trust us as we lead them in a lockerroom or a huddle, we're also unlikely to be seen as a hero to children, a millionaire to others and a leader to many inside and out the walls of BofA stadium.

Character matters and your past isvthe greatest indication of your future.

Thanks for making my point, if it's about what he has done on the field than why keep judging him for what happened off.it's been said that he is a leader as well but some people don't take into account what college coaches have said.

This thread was about mentoring him, but yet you come in here to bash him like you do with every cam thread.we get it you don't like him.so ban me if you want.

Yes, that makes him a thug.

Yes he did steal a laptop, it was labeled as a theft, therefore it is.

I have never stolen, I have never accepted money illegally (and yes I have been offered), I have never cheated on a test past the grade school.

This is football, character matters, I was a captain on my high school team, if my team mates found me making comments such as "I am an icon and entertainer" REGARDLESS of what it was for, stealing other team mates laptops, cheating in school, offering myself off to other schools, they would immediately not respect me, and I sure as heck wouldn't have a captain status.

Gabbert and Locker have never done any of those things.

Also, why would you even ask if I thought Big Ben was a thug? That is retarded.

It's not just about what he did on the field, that seems to be what you don't understand and I'm not sure why it's not getting through to you.

Nah chief, but yet he has fixed his image in a lot of people eyes.thugs can't change their image.

He has changed his image in Steeler fan's eyes, because he took them to the super bowl. Everyone else thinks he is a total douche and if he ever got near my daughter I would kill him.

Vick is the only used to be thug to changes his image.

Not in my eyes :nonod:

(and I'm not alone in that)

Yeah, there are people in this country who will forgive practically anything as long as someone can act, or sing, or play a sport, or make money in business, or even just give a good speech. You don't even have to be contrite or apologetic. just be good at something people like and whatever you do will be forgiven.

I don't subscribe to that philosophy, and never will.

Can people be forgiven for things they do? Sure they can, but winning a Grammy, an Oscar, or a Super Bowl Ring doesn't count as an apology.

He didn't steal the laptop.I'm glad you were captain tho congrats.the guy came into auburn and the jc he attend and became a leader.so obvious his teammates loved him like yours loved you.

Question his ability on the field, don't question the nature of the man.especially when you don't have a damn clue and all accounts that were close to him say opposite.

So then where do you stand on the accusations against Ryan Mallett?
