Believe The Hype by Gil Brandt

I just have one question:

Has a former college coach and/or teammates ever GONE ON RECORD and said something negative about a player who is considered in the top 10 of the draft?

Unless you believe that no top 10 prospect has ever had questions marks and controversy based on comments made or conversations had either private or public then the answer to your question would be yes. Is it likely that after the intense public and private scrutiny and all the due diligence, that teams would have a great understanding of a candidate's qualities and personal makeup. Now more than 20 years ago, for sure.

It is also likely with so many people involved in the process that the information wouldn't be mentioned by all the talking heads and so called experts who are paid to do nothing else these days then discusss the draft and the candidates ad nauseum. I figure every thing to be know but the choice itself is already out there.

Yeah... i still don't want him.

Cunningham never won anything.

Neither has any QB on our roster, or anyone available in free agency. So...what should be done?

Pete Carroll went on record and said Sanchez should have come back for another year of college. That's the closest I can think of off the top of my head.

Win or lose Cunningham was exciying to watch. If Newton could be a bigger stronger faster more accurate version of Randall, then I am totally for it. I saw Cunningham in his prime and he was a game changer.

Same. Cunningham is one of my favorite QBs of all time. He was very exciting to watch and not like Vick where it was just a question of if he'd break off a long run on one of his runs. He was exciting because he used his speed to extend plays and make throws.
