Demand for quarterbacks high, supply after draft low

He brings up a good point many folks are ignoring. Everyone wants Palmer, McNabb, or Volek as vets who can start if needed. It ignores the fact that Volek may be content in San Diego, Carson doesn't look like he will be released and McNabb is still looking for a big paycheck and guaranteed starting status which someone else will likely give him. With any of them we could find ourselves in a bidding war.

Some of us wanting to draft a Qb in the first are afraid we won't find a good option in FA and will be stuck with who we have right now. The liklihood of another year like the last is really distasteful. I like others want to draft a Qb in the first and still try to pick a veteran in the FA market. That way we maximize the liklihood that we have good options going into the season. While I am not giving up on Clausen or Moore at this point, I am not putting my eggs in that basket again either.
