No respect for this Franchise Until...

I will have no respect for the Bobcats organization until Boris Diaw is no longer on the team. He's absolutely awful and plays the game at a pace slower than most high school players.

I don't watch many games but was telling my roomate that I must be kryptonite to Diaw. Everytime I watch a game he looks like garbage.

Me and my friend who's from LA and a Lakers fan have this on-going discussion of how Diaw is pretty much like an Anti-Michael Jordan. He's just really really bad, and it leaves you in awe sometimes at how somebody can perform like he does.

10 points, 8 assists, 4 rebounds and only 3 turnovers. That is a solid game for most.

Three turnovers for a PF isn't that great. The fact is he's really really inconsistent. While he'll put up those numbers sometimes, he'll come to the next game and score 5 points and not take a shot till the 4th.

Those turnovers occure because of his assists. He leads all PF's in assists and a 8 to 3 turnover or ratio is not bad.

When did those TO's occur? At the most important time of the game. Sure 3 TO's aren't bad except when theu all come in the final 2 minutes of play.

Silas has been fed up with him all season. Eventually he will bench him for one game then Boris will come out all fired up and give us two solid double-double games before fading back into his regular self. That has happened twice already this season and it would be wise to do it again as we head into the home stretch.

Good news is his contract is up after next season so he will be good trade bait next winter. There was some demand for him from other teams last fall and his play has gotten no worse.

Plus he may play better next season being a contract year and all.

His trade value will be enormous next year. He is an expiring that always plays well after being traded and coaches love his versatility and believe that they can coach him up into effort.

Speaking of respect our last game of the season against the Hawks was supposed to be the 8pm ESPN game. I guess since most think our playoff hopes are dead, ESPN is now going to air Dallas vs NO instead. I love how it is just all about the ratings.

Btw I don't really care because I hate ESPN but the National coverage is something our team needs.
