Understand what you mesn, but the group they have there aren't morons.

I may disagree with them on this point, but all of the guys they have on there are people Id say are worth listening to.

I'm just ready for the draft to actually get here so we can talk about the actual draft picks rather than who the talking heads say we should take. It's to the point now I hardly click any links reagrding the draft because, in a nutshell, it's a rehashed summary of what a dozen other media types have already surmized about this team's top pick.

I fail to understand your logic here. You are saying that it is stupid to take a QB early in a draft where there aren't many high potential QB's. Instead we should draft a WR, DT, or DB in the first round because there are so many available.

If I felt DT was our biggest need and there were only 2 good looking DT's in this draft THEN I would suggest going for one in the first round. If we needed a QB and there were a large amount of talented QB's then I would assume there would be quality left in the later rounds.

PS In last years draft Dareus would have been lucky to be the 3rd DT taken.

And PP7 would probably not gone before Eric Berry.

Fact is anyone we take at #1 in this draft is a reach.

The QB class is so weak in my opinion, that we would our waste our top pick going QB. In other words, you don't draft a QB just for the sake of drafting one when the quality isn't obviously there.

The other spots are deep, so you select one and later other spots with the intent of getting a good guy deeper in the draft.

I respect your opinion Mr. Scott but I honestly don't think anyone in this draft would have gone #1 in any other draft in recent history. Well maybe Oakland would have gone crazy over Cam.

The argument could be made that it's a weak draft, especially at the QB spot, but I still think Peterson would be an elite prospect regardless.
