Seriously people, what is all the hype?

Since when has he been "lighting up the draft world" anyways?

I haven't heard much about him good or bad.

It's the fans on this forum that have hyped him up so much.

Do you really want a Vince Young replica playing here??

so wrong on so many levels. this is an example of someone who didn't have a clue and failed to form his own opinion on the subject

I wasn't apart of this thread, but if I had been I would have sided with the haters. I was for giving Clausen another year and drafting Green. If he improved then great... if not then there would be some kid from Stanford available this year. I was wrong.

I was against drafting J-Stew, for drafting AE, against giving CJ a big contract...

I'm good at my job and not so good at Hurney's. That's why I'm posting on an internet message board.

? what do you think is going to happen in the NFL if he comes to us?

Hell they already are doing that. With our running game already there are usually always 8 guys in the box. Newton would just make that more dangerous. And I love how people on here can predict the future.

"He made all his great throws to wide open receivers" thats the spread bud get used to it. And its not completely true to begin with. Could he bust, sure, will he bust I don't think so. Anything he is lacking in I believe he will work his tail off to improve. He might not ever be a Brady/Manning type passer but I could see him developing just as well if not better then Freeman.

Better start respecting.

    • Bro, they literally said everyone in the building wanted bryce.  From tepper down to the scouts they literally said everyone.  By human nature that simply cant be true.  They are just saying that to show unity in the pick.  I can promise not everyone wanted him over stroud or whoever
    • Well, you aren’t really joking there but at the same time, talent will out. Cam in our case.  Manning. All the guys that people pointed to when Bryce sucked his first year, and said they struggled too…  It is such a crap shoot.. but better than it was before they slotted the pay into a reasonable stratosphere. Talk about killing your franchise paying the equivalent of modern day 50-60 million per, to a green rookie….
    • The issue is that being slow or unable to read the field is the toughest of all hills to climb in the NFL for a QB. There is an overflowing graveyard of former QB's you have to climb over to get to the very few success stories in that realm. It is not impossible for him to figure it out but it is HIGHLY improbable that he will. The odds there are so incredibly low.
