I can do alone with someone. I'm very social, but I find balance. My life isn't so hectic where I would require 7 days of isolation..

if I found myself in that situation, I'd manage just fine. if I had a choice, I'd take someone with me.

A month is right at the limit for me in all likelihood for zero contact. If I were seeing people off and on, say thru hiking the AT which takes 5 to 7 months but you'd see people at resupply depots then I could go on indefinitely.

But for total isolation Id be done somewhere right around a month.

Ive been wanting to do the AT for a long time. Money and time always seem to be the problem.
