No reason not to give him praise for it just because it's something others can do, too, imo.

Could tell how appreciated he was around there at least. There are places where with the stats he put up he would have been run out... but man, he got Washington to a Bowl game, that is huge.

Watching this thing makes me feel like Newton can do it. He's completely aware it seems that his athleticism is just an asset and not the basis if his game. He is talking the talk when it comes to commitment to preparation.
