I just went to his page. If you read it in chronological order, it's clear that the "good news" is that he found a place to throw a party.

This has nothing to do with any scoop on who we are picking.

and here I thought the Panthers ran their choice at #1 by all their free agents. ;)

I just did the same thing. hes talking about the party. I will be checking his page after the pick to see if he responds. Im pretty sure someone will have something to say on twitter or facebook

what I've found is you always gotta read the source if you can, because people like to spin things... everyone has an opinion and VERY rarely do people on a message board actually present things with no interpretation... just how people are :)

Say what you want about how shitty Clausen is, but that really sucks to have everybody who has seen you work talk to your boss about getting somebody to replace you because you are the biggest weakness on the team. That's rough.

I know that.. but don't you think once the lockout is over, if Carolina doesn't have a QB, that will affect his decision to make the choice of coming back?

Why do you think any veteran on this team would be happy if the Panthers picked a MAJOR project QB at #1.

A QB that needs a year or two to even come close to being a legit starter.

A QB that quite frankly must LEARN the QB position at this level.

A QB who played in a system that is NOWHERE near an NFL system.

to me, a veteran on this team woudl rather see a move in FA to bring in a Vet starter than a mjoarly risky project.
