We've all be exposed. And pretty much screwed:

Here's what Sony UK indicates was exposed:

  • Name
  • Shipping address
  • Billing address
  • Country
  • E-mail address
  • Birthdate
  • PSN/Qriocity ID
  • PSN/Qriocity password
  • PSN/Qriocity security question and answer
  • Purchase history

I know a guy who knows a guy who might get your info back to you for a slight finders fee....

J/K - That really sucks! I had a CC fraud issue back when and it was hell trying to get everything straightened out. Put fraud alerts on all of your CC's ASAP...

You get what you pay for. The thing is, PSN was poo before this. I can't believe people are so cheap they are willing to lag online with perfect connection. I'll give Bill Gates 15 bucks every 3 months with a smile on my face if that means I can enjoy a decent online experience. I bet the hackers where bored 9 year olds. Embarrassing, but not surprising..

Got an email from Sony last night that really makes me feel like they still have no idea still what was really taken.

They basically said your credit card number could have been stolen, but not your security code.

They also told you to check your credit report and that they've given your name to the Bureaus so you can get a free fraud alert put on your poo.

This is an utter catastrofug.
