DJ Williams in the 4th?

I think the TE that Chud ultimately will want will be the type guy that would already be off the board by now. I think Shockey gets a lot of reps while he tests out Rosario and Barnidge to see if they can be the everydown TE...what we got is probably better than the guys left.

I think they go OL to start off the 4th. There aren't any TEs or CBs worth taking in the 4th.

I'm fine with Barnidge and Rosario.

We need weapons at the position.

"Just good enough" can't be good enough at the position can't be good enough anymore.

It's time to start developing one behind Shock.

If Barnidge can take the job from him-great-but we can't just hope that Barnidge will be a stud.

Yeah, there are two guys already on the roster we can develop behind Shockey, Barnidge has great hands, good speed, can stretch the field vertically but can challenge LB's on underneath routes. What else are you looking for?

More athleticism? That's where Rosario comes in and he really just needs to work on consistency with his hands.

TE has largely been ignored with Fox, let the ones that fit Chuds system show what they can do before trying to replace them.

Jordan Cameron is still available. Dude is an athlete. He stands in at 6'5” and weighs 250lbs. He runs a 4.53 40 (to put that in perspective Green ran a 4.48 while being 40 lbs lighter and an inch shorter). He put up 225 23 times, clocked a 6.82 3 cone (once again Green had a 6.91), a 4.03 20 yard shuttle (Green 4.21), 37.5” Vert (Green 35” and an inch shorter), and had a 10' broad jump.

It's ludicrous to ignore the position if you can upgrade it. Period. If Barnidge is as good as you say he is, then he'll be able to topple a rookie TE. Which would be great.

    • As long as Morgan is the GM, Young will be the QB. Young is 100% Morgan's guy. The contract extension is pretty much guaranteed unless Young suffers a career ending injury this season.
    • People really need to stop placing Dan Morgan on some kind of infallible pedestal. He is absolutely in lockstop with Tepper regarding Bryce and has been all along. As far as the team being okay with 185 passing yards per game. We better have a proven monster RB in our backfield then. Presently that guy is not on the roster. Chuba has one outlier season so far and the other guys have proven nothing. Not what you would call a great recipe. The only thing we can hope at this juncture is that the highest paid OL in the league for the second year in a row elevates their play from last season and opens up some massive holes even our RB's can get through. But it still doesn't resolve the issue of predictability. With no viable passing game it is much easier to shut down any run game. No defenses are scared of Bryce's arm. It is what it is.
    • i lived in Atlanta from 84'to 92' & back then it was indeed a very different time without the internet & access to information 24/7. shortly after i moved back home to western NC around 93' or 94' the Carolina Panthers were awarded an NfL franchise & began their inaugural season in 95' so ike you i have seen the Carolina Panthers, ,the NFL ,technology, fans all evolve over the many a moon & years now some for the better & others not so ...just saying
