Oh jeez, there's only a couple dozen types of sleeping pills

Melatonin based, benadryl based, unisom (there's actually two versions of unisom, the original and a benadryl based), herbal etc

Two benadryl used to do the trick for me. I tried Tylenol PM once or twice but didn't like it that much.

Try sex on Ambien.

Seriously though, be careful with sleep aids. They can be very addicting and can have crazy side effects. Try to find a natural solution first.

Get some Yogi sleep tea, drink one an hr before bed and take a melatonin right before bed. Don't go over 5mg on the melatonin though, I take a 10mg tablet and it kinda gives me a groggy "hangover" if you will.

I took 1/4 of an otc sleep aid last night because I've been having trouble falling asleep for a while now. I took it about 10:30 because I usually try to be in bed by 11. I slept all night, I don't remember falling asleep, I don't remember Dan coming to bed. Apparently I got up this morning to make Dan & the kid lunch and send them off to work & school and then went back to bed but I vaguely remember doing it. I had crazy insane dreams but I cant remember any of them. I just woke up about 10 minutes ago and I feel like I'm very hungover.

Not doing that again.

Melatonin is your friend.

Can take 1-3 (3mg) Works well for me too. If that does not work, some people have luck with valerian root. Both are very safe.

when I have to sleep and can't sleep I will use a trazodone. I prefer that over Ambien

melatonin 5mg take two and 30 mins later you are out and wake up feeling refreshed. Some of the others are way too powerful and Boo is right, if you stay up too long you will literally feel like you ate some shrooms.
