Any room for Favre or Moon as a player coach?

I'd be all for Favre or Moon, or another big name former qb coming in and taking Newton, Clausen, Pike under their wings, and teaching them everything they know about the game of football.

Favre only even came to mind because of the fact that he and Cam share the same agent, and his suggestion that he wanted to get into coaching or something else football related. Yeah I wouldn't bet on either happening though. I

You blame us? This is only our second attempt at getting a franchise qb through the draft. Our first attempt didn't exactly go too well. I don't see the harm in "over doing it" if it means that the player(s) even have a .0001% chance of being better than they would without the extra help/mentoring.

Fwiw, it doesn't seem that players who were very good at their position turn into good coaches. Usually, its the ones who had to work a lot harder to be good that make the better coaches. I think that Delhomme will have a better shot at being a good coach someday than Favre.
