Cause that's not what the owners want. They'd rather have it dragged out until the season starts so players start loosing money and panicking, assuring the owners the best deal possible.

The players think they will win the appeal, so they won't agree on anything until it comes through, thinking they'll gain better leverage.

Neither side wants to do it right now. Anything to that effect is just for show.

But isnt the same court who granted the stay is the same court thats going to do the appeal ? To me it seems that the owners will probably win that to if they saw enough evidence to have the stay granted. I just dont see how its going to help the players now there is a chance they could win the appeal but i wouldnt count on it.

This is going to really hurt our team. We need all the OTA's and mini camps that we can get. Your team starts to learn the basic part of the playbook doing does times. Especially with a new head coach and people who is new to the system especially rookies.
