some hands on reports saying it looks deceivingly awkward and it feels pretty light and comfortable

lol @ 360/ps3 graphics

None of the trailers they showed for WiiU looked amazing or made my jaw drop (I don't buy for a second that the Koi demo was realtime...if it was then I will gladly step up and eat my crow when the games come) like the first time I saw Uncharted, Killzone, Alan Wake, Gears etc....I hope the console does well because I'm a gamer not a fanboy....I enjoy just playing games. I want all three consoles to be the best they can be but right now I just don't see anything all that impressive about WiiU and I have a feeling between the controller and the console it's going to be pretty costly....

Have no faith in the new sony handheld. The PSP was a bust and the DS has been a huge success, I expect the same thing with the 3DS and the new sony product. The 3DS looks to have some sick titles coming out for it.

70 million units sold is a bust?

Thought this was pretty funny:

Activision CEO Bobby Kotick apparently denied access to Battlefield 3. I'm LOLLERSKATING at the thought that they would actually let him in.

I guess next time he better make an appointment. Sorry, I just think this was a little funny but it really shouldn’t surprise anyone, after all, Battlefield 3 is Call of Duty’s biggest competitor. And especially after this E3 so far where we have seen some amazing gameplay videos from Battlefield 3, there is no reason for them to even let Kotick near their game when you know in the end he would just try to talk crap about it, that’s just what he does. In an article over at CVG, they went on to say,

Our deepthroat tells us that the female assistant hopped to the front of the EA queue on Wednesday morning (08/06/11). The DICE-developed military title is only being shown behind closed doors in Los Angeles – and not on console.

Her request was reportedly stewed over for a minute in private, until an EA rep re-emerged on the public show floor. He then explained that senior management had been consulted about the Activision chief’s request, but that “it would not be possible”.

    • Was just explaining this to some dummy named Willy in another thread. I think he was just smoking’ too much cheese.  This has been going on for ages. Trent dilfer got all the ladies and threw just as many TDs as interceptions. This was the more violent era of football. The soft mfrs wanna see the passing TDs but the truth is that ain’t what ultimately wins football games. It’s a STRONG D, and an unstoppable run game, with some passes to keep the defense honest, if a for a TD great. in fact I would venture to say that the two panthers super bowls consisted of the same except cam threw more tds than interceptions and could run like Jamal Lewis and priest Holmes. its a tale as old as time. Something all ball knowers understand.
    • This team just traded a 2nd round pick for Bradley Chubbs. Edge, Miami Dolphins.
    • Ngl, as good as I felt about us after winning yesterday, when they showed the top NFC teams on SNF, I realized what a crazy year this is.  The NFC seems uncommonly top heavy.  As of today, we aren’t anywhere near playoff positioning, which at 5-4 seems very, very weird compared to most years.  I know things will shake out further as the season goes on and it likely won’t look the same, but I have the feeling it’s one of those years that you’ll need like 11 wins to get in as a wildcard. seems very like a very pantherish thing to rebound this year and that’s what it would take.
