So if you talk or text in the Alamo Drafthouse Theater (they serve beer and food. No kids under 18 after the afternoon shows. It's just awesome) they throw you out. No questions. You're gone. That simple.

But watch out for a "Rolling Roadshow" in the future. That's where they take a portable movie screen and show famous movies in the location where they were filmed (ex. Rocky on the steps of the Philly Museum of Art, Close Encounters by Devil's Tower).

Sure, but more often than not, those at the theater are going to drink more than one, and many of them will drink more than two and they will have a buzz. Just doesn't make a lot of sense to have a movie theater/bar thats so quiet that you can't even text someone without getting thrown out.

eh. the people should go to a bar or restaurant if they aren't truly there for the show. besides. drinking the way you are saying you'll end up missing some of the show going to piss.

i'd love to have a place like this in wilmington. the theatre is just where all the teens go, and they can spoil an entire movie. going for date night with my wife and having unparented children make comments or go awwwww every time something happens makes me want to slap them. i don't of course.

This place takes it to the extreme because

1) It is a GREAT marketing gimmick.

2) It makes it perfectly clear to even the most retarded, dimwitted, inconsiderate assbag that NO BS will be tolerated. Some people are too stupid for anything other than zero tolerance.

3) Did I mention the obvious awesome marketing gimmick?
