Just got my LSAT scores back and it's what I expected, but not what I hoped for.

Gonna re-take in October, but currently pretty down about myself.

Lets see whatcha got.

I am not quite sure how you would "highly recommend" that i don't retake it on that basis alone?

Its not on the basis of a previous score alone. Its more about my view on the selection process from the school's perspective. Being the sole non-lawyer in a lawyer family, that is simply my perspective. You only take it twice if its extremely necessary and you have a specific school in mind. But I'd recommend figuring this out for yourself. Here's to cheering up ;)

And I'm saying this based off of my sis who got a 172 (or something in the low 170s) and actually wanted to take it again, but was advised not to. She ended up exactly where she wanted to go.

So if you really think it will benefit you, take it again.

I don't have a specific school in mind, I have a range of schools. And most law schools consider your highest score only, so I'm not at any sort of disadvantage if I re-sit for the exam. Unless of course, I do even worse the second time around which I find to be highly unlikely. My score on this exam was 4 points lower than what I scored on the first diagnostic exam I ever took before I even started studying for it.

Um, a 172 is something like 97th percentile....

Correction: I re-checked and was wrong...it was actually a 168. I think her dilemma was that it was just out of reach for some of the top schools. She said that if she would have taken it again, it most likely wouldn't matter with schools like Columbia & NYU.

Again, I don't know what range you were shooting for, gpa, or anything really haha but if retaking it will most likely result in a significant point increase, it sounds like you should do it. But again you know yourself the best and the current situation so I'm not trying to convince of anything, just giving my two cents.

Good luck and all the best. :cheers2:

    • To be clear, I am not advocating for drafting a WR.  As for the OTs we have met with--I am not sure how or when or where and whether or not that even matters. I can say this about OL:  Those tackles would not play much (unless there is an injury and Fano is probably going to be a guard.  Lomu seems to have slipped a bit (based on the perspectives of crackheads who publish on the interweb or broadcast from their pods.) I like Lomu.  I like Proctor--I think he is the #1 OT but the weight (he was 390) scares me.  Imagine him with $10m in his bank account at the gas station when the 16-pack of Reeses Peanut Butter Cup is right below his fingertips at the counter.  NOOOO! Blake Miller might be the most practical option, to be honest. I watched his vidoes for several minutes (not to exceed 10 because my father played for the Gamecocks when I was born) and I was impressed.   At 19?  A bit rich, but we don't know what the GMs know.   Bryce's contract is another issue.  If they decide to give him a bag of money (suicide hotline 1-800-JUMP), they are going to have to part ways with some vet contracts.  Moton, Hunt, and Lewis come to mind.  Ickey could be gone too.  So....I assume we will have a starting center by next year...
    • My original post :  Yeah man we are in better shape than the bulk of the teams in the league.   There is no goal post moving.  We have a top 15 wr room.  We have an absolute stud and a high floor guy.  Not sure why you are disparaging our guys,  So now for the offense to be unlocked we need a speed guy playmaker, this is insanity
    • 1st round WR again. This will be so great.  Imagine if we had a QB worthy of all of this. It might be something.
