Why are some of these topics here?

This happens all the time, but it is annoying as fug. This is supposed to be the Panthers forum. Many of these topics should be in NFL Central. This isn't my opinion either. It's in the forum description. "Carolina Panthers General discussion forum on Carolina Panthers." Yet there are currently 6 threads that seem to have nothing to do with the panthers just on the 1st page. Bears sign this guy, Bucs sign that guy, blah blah blah. I don't get it. Me thinks it should be over in the NFL section.

This doesn't sound like a Panthers-related thread to me. I think it should be moved.

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

I second your motion.

That's why I've been posting all the FA news in the Midnight thread on top. Pretty much everyone's who's signed that's been confirmed is in there.

good job. keeping clutter to a minimum.

Dude I just got swaggerjacked. I've been saying this all day long and caught some flack for it too.

only the ignorant shall throw flack on this.

Like I said it's always been the policy to allow everything in the main forum during the off season. There generally isn't enough traffic to keep the forum cleaned up.

I posted the 'Winslow to Bucs' thread in Southern Comfort and it was moved here? Beats me...

wierd

I feel the same way, but the guy the bears signed was a Panthers FA so that shouldn't count as an off-topic thread.

didn't know that. i'm glad its not the only one I was referencing.

There are too many to begin with: NFL (can't post NFC South stuff!!!!), NFC South (cant post non-south stuff and dont you dare talk about the Cats!!!!!), Panthers (Panthers only!!!).

Just have this one. The NFL forum isn't populated to begin with and the NFC South forum shouldn't even exist. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go check the thread about the Charlotte Observer.

    • If you need someone to run your multi-billion dollar business, maaayyyybe don't hire a guy whose previous work experience includes repeated blows to the head and literal brain damage but IDK.
    • Extrapolate that with every QB for that matter. I guarantee you there's quite a bit of missed opportunities and yards left on the field for everyone. Many NFL QBs deal with WRs not putting in A+ effort, subpar o-line play and other deficiencies. The great ones are able to rise above these issues and create opportunities for plays. Guys like Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes can both play in and out of structure, as well as find ways to get yards when things break down and mask mistakes by throwing guys open, creating opportunities from nothing, etc. Bryce Young has only shown he's able to make things happen when the rest of the team picks up his slack. Very rarely does he create those opportunities himself. When this is a consistent pattern year after year with Bryce where he shows up lackluster, it's a concern. This is year three and he should be elevating the team as a first overall pick this franchise traded up for.  He was far from elevating anyone against JAX. In fact, he needed others to elevate and create for him. Excuses may be fine for a rookie, but this is year three for the first overall pick. Not looking good so far.
    • I think the worst issue is coaching. Countless bad snaps, XL not getting his feet in or trying on runs plays, our centre being down field when he didn't need to be. All seem to be from poor coaching for me. I believe Canales is to soft to rip the players a new one when the fug up. Plus I honestly believe that Canales is slow getting his plays in giving Bryce less time to diagnose and adjust to the defence. Don't worry I could of head butted Bryce for that fumble and the 4th down throw aways but the other plays are explainable to me
