Every once in a while.........

My Father died in 1990 a few days after Memorial Day. My mom died in 1994 around Mother's Day (Which is also near my Birthday.)

About 1992, I told my Mom that I knew my Father had at least 2 afairs with women while they were married. I also told her that it was none of my business, but how could she put up with it?

She told me I was right. It wasn't any of my business.

But she added that she could tell when my Father was starting to get serious, and she would step in and put a stop to it. (She didn't elaborate, and I didn't ask.)

She also said that it was something that she could always hold over him. End of conversation!

I'm pretty sure she had a small "fling" with a much younger male teacher. (I doubt that my Father ever caught on to that. I'm pretty sure he was busy boinking the big bossom bottle blonde he introduced me to.)

I never cheated while I was married. (Girlfriends are a different subject.)

I never heard them argue, or even say a cross thing to each other. Of course, I only saw my Father kiss my Mom once in 34 years!

That's pretty much it. Every one in a great while my conversation pops into my mind. I guess sometimes there aren't any anwers.

I cheated on the last real girlfriend I had before I met the woman is now my wife. Every day, every time I said 'I love you' was a lie and felt like it. The guilt had a hold of me and wouldnt let go. I learned from that experience. In the weeks leading up to my wedding date the place I worked at hired this gorgeous 1/2 Cuban, 1/2 Dominican chick, like 22 or close to that. Broad walked by the boss' office when I was telling him my fiance was going to DC for the weekend for her bachelorette party, then told me that I just had to tell her where and she'd meet me. I had to call a friend of mine and ahve him talk me down, it was a true test of will... I stood strong, didnt call or get up with broad and enjoy my marriage that much more because I am not living a lie...

Still the same,cheating is bad.

So its ok to cheat on your Gf but not your wife..Well I guess I better hurry up and get married !! :nono:

in general, I totally agree...cheating is bad bad bad. I myself have committed to be in a long term relationship with just my wife and I intend on keeping that committment.

some people might think an open relationship is healthy and good for their marriage, and I'm in no position to argue with them about it. Wouldn't work for me.

    • The pattern of what we've done before, during and after the trade and selection of Bryce points to Tepper being involved in his selection and continued presence as the unquestioned starter. Pickett sucked in Philly, he just didn't start. If he hadn't sucked, Pittsburg wouldn't have gotten rid of him as a 1st round QB. Grier is so bad we already cut him once. He offers zero upside. There were FA QBs available last season that we could have gotten over Dalton who actually outperformed Bryce. The bar is low, ridiculously low. But we keep adding people who have proven they are below that bar.  Bryce is a bottom tier QB. We should be actively looking to improve the roster. You can say virtually no QB3s and few QB2s could challenge Bryce. That's true. But it also means there may be some that can. We're not looking for those guys. We should be. They could definitely challenge a KP or Grier.  The goal is winning seasons and winning the division. Relying on the Falcons to win so you can get into the playoffs with a losing record in a weak division isn't a recipe for success.
    • Man oh man talk about getting it wrong coming And going. Have two viable arms and don’t stay the course so you draft a noodle arm that stands on his tippy toes to see, they make us go the full 5 years waiting for him to pan out.
    • I guess it's so we don't have to force a UDFA QB to be in serious consideration for QB3.  QB4 will be just a camp arm and maybe a stash on the PS if he looks half way decent. They will not bring in competition for Bryce if you haven't figured that out by now.  He's either going to sink or swim.  The next QB with a legit arm on this team will be when we move on from Bryce.  I think this is the ramifications from the Darnold/Mayfield debacle.
