Comcast has greatly improved its customer service over the last several years. I never had a single issue, but that wasn't in Georgia. Everything there sucks regardless.

I've considered it. Cost too much for me to upgrade right now... and if I'm not at home with the phone, my kids would not be happy.

The dsl has no modem in the house. I think its in the box outside. I'm not sure exactly.

How does your computer interface with the modem then? Wifi from a box that you don't know the location of?

Back in the prehistoric days of DSL AT&T would come and put a splitter outside the house seperating land line and internet thus avoiding DSL filters. See attached picture.

With Saltman now having the bandwidth he has we're all fugged.

This is my office on fiber... so I am envious of you Salty. That is damn fast... is that at home?

We pay a LOT for this fiber service and it is extremely stable and I suspect I'm not getting the full 10 upload because someone outside is hitting our FTP or something now, but 30mbps down is awesome.

Now that streaming HD midget porn won't buffer at all.
