I still like Robinson's potential but to completely dismiss Jones' production is dumb. He's a FA, doesn't mean we can't bring him back. Your argument revolves around semantics. Weak.

Last time I checked, we are talking about now, sure we can trade for Devin Hester and have him return for us, but is it going to happen?

How can you assume that we WILL bring him back?

Also point to where I dismiss Jones production? haha people are funny.

.

We weren't talking about now. We never were talking about now man. I mentioned a few "topics" of the PAST as an example of weak sauce and you came in with this stuff.

So no, we never were talking about now. Go back and read.

Wow, you got me there, I missed them cutting him. lol

I'll stop at this, I'm not 'everyone else', and I don't care what who said about speed or w/e because I didn't.

And no I don't know or haven't seen your or anyone else's arguments over this.

I'm not even arguing or saying who I want to return, all I said it that it isn't a dumb statement to say "I want Robinson as our return man"(even if it is over Jones)

cool ...

well, ya left out the rest of what you were reading. Saying Robinson should be our return man isn't dumb. But saying Robinson should start over Jones and giving no reasons is, or not even knowing why...

That's all I said and you jumped in like I called your name out. So, I'll leave it at that.

:D

Well once again I really don't care but I do have some reasons.

Jones is 28 and can only do returns.(and when he does line up he is a possession WR, and we have plenty of those and those guys are way better than him at it)

Robinson is 24, and can play a stretch the field type of WR and adds speed that the defense has to honor.(plus he can do returns)

The only speed WR we have is Smith, and Robinson if he plays or is in the lineup. We need more speed on offense, especially at the WR position.

It's really not all about special teams, especially if we draft someone to try out there and actually use Robinson at WR.

I learned about this in health class in high school. Sometimes when girls live together for long periods of time, their periods sync up. No worries though, that just means you just stay off the huddle for a stretch of 2-5 days per month.

We realize Hurney does not read a message board and base his decisions over fan suggestions.

That said we still have opinions and the desire to express them, and we don't need people to constantly tell us it's not going to happen. If you don't like the idea then don't open the f*cking thread in the first place. Nobody's forcing you to read their trade scenarios or personnel evaluations. That's what a forum is for and you can go to any other team's forum and find nothing different.

So can we stop the pathetic displays of advanced brainpower here and end constantly state the obvious?

This message was created for the people by the people.

Anger management classes are available. I think you should look into them

Guys, you can disagree with someone without calling them names though, or saying their post is dumb, as that implies they are too. It's the personal attacks that should not be taking place. I have an idea that you disagree with? Fine, tell me why you disagree with it and call it a day...

Don't get me wrong, I'm not all about carebears and my little ponies. I just find it rediculous that people would resort to name-calling to respond to someone else's opinion. I thought most of us had matured more than that, but I see this happen time after time on here. In that, I find I do agree with Raging in that you don't have to be mean to get your point across.

Just my two cents though, feel free to disagree.

this thread is ghey

a message board is not a place that gives you the right to be a moron just because you are anonymous. You have to make some sort of sense. Post at your own risk. The key to effective learning and personal growth is to have your opinions smashed to bits on a regular basis until you tach yourself to think before you speak/post.

Yes I believe in speech too..from the instigator AND the reciprocator.

I mean what the hell are you sharing it for if you don't want someone to comment and point out possibilities for why it may not work. Post here anonymously and get your poo shot all to hell before you go out blabbing that Pop-Warner mentality in public.

You don't realize what you are asking for. This forum as well as ALL FORUMS ON THE INTERNET are a public service.

So what your saying is people (whom you represent) can display opinions on this board but the people (whom you represent) who have opinions about those opinions are wrong? Amazing!

    • Cooter, Kurb, others have passed on to glory….  Praise be.
    • Oh good for them! Hope this is the start of a long happy time in their lives here.
    • There was no reason to believe in either Cam or Jake as a top tier elite QB before those seasons either. Cam was an "athletic" QB in most people's minds and his passing skills were open for debate. And there was a bit to that as he was still trying to get that massive power in his arm tamed to be able to put some touch on his passes. And then, he did it. Missiles became bombs, the firing lanes became points of finesse. Cam grew up and leveled up, while still retaining the ability and drive to truck people whenever he wanted. And Jake... no one freaking believed in Jake except Jake himself. He got, and let's be honest with this, one chance in a losing game to make something out of his career. And he rose to the occasion like some kind of mythical hero and continued to do so for the season. He became a true leader for the team, and his gunslinger capabilities rehabbed Moose's career and created Smitty as a force in the league. Smitty went from a barker to a biter. But no one believed in Jake going in. And they trashed him on his way out. Now Bryce... who knows? I've seen some improvement. Maybe he finds his footing. His teammates seem to love and respect him and that means a lot. The game should be moving at his speed now. He has weapons available to him and maybe a defense that doesn't just roll over by the third quarter. And his coach seems to be moving this team in the right direction. Could he do it? It's up to him, if he can find the magic like Jake and Cam did. But don't doubt this, magic is really, really hard to find.
