NFL Network are having a full day live Show. They are now saying that the hold up is the Players want somebody to have a voice at the table on off the field player conduct rulings. They are saying if they can come to an agreement on that today. The Players could vote to recertify later on today.

I guess they feel that Roger Goodell Ruings are just to harsh for the crime that they did. And they will prefer to have somebody like the Judge or maybe Kevin Mawae..

Problem is that it ultimately has to be the decision of the commissioner, they just need to come up with a list of standard penalties so it's fair.

it would be slightly like a student having some say in a high school, but if the right player is selected then it would be good to keep Roger in check.
