Maybe I am completely missing something, but I don't understand why the Cardinals would give up possible the best young DB in the league AND a 2nd round pick, for a QB who started 5 games last year, had a 7/7 TD/INT ratio, and a passer rating of 76. Not to mention he likely had more weapons on the Eagles than he does on the Cards, especially now that Steve Breaston is gone. Why can't we get a deal like that, lets trade Jimmy Pickles to the Bills for Marcell Dareus and a 3rd Round Pick.

Same reason why we drafted a project QB instead of the consensus best player in Patrick Peterson. QB >>>>> DB.

Well #1 from his game tape in the NFL I am sure the staff believes that he can be the franchise QB they need. I mean the eagles got rid of McNabb for him, but Vick got in and went into beast mode.

#2 Larry F. is going to be a free agent next year, and you need to keep him happy. Another QB experience like last year and he is probably walking out the door, which would mean no QB, no Pro Bowl WR.

#3 To even compare Jimmy to Kolb at this point is irresponsible and doesn;t deserve a response.

#4 Like someone else has said, most QB's people pay for are not sure things. But it's the reward of getting some good at that position. The same reason we took Cam #1 overall though he has not shown that his game will translate to the NFL.
