WTF are you talking about?

The biggest knocks on Cam coming out were about his abilities as a passer. You may have forgotten that because of all of the nuthugging that has gone on around here.

Cam has accuracy issues and velocity issues. However his natural talents make it likely that he can be "taught up".

Best physical talent in 5 years, maybe. Best passer, no.

He is referring to all the massive homers on here that persuaded a lot of people against Cam the first time around, not the analysis's that were done by experts.

Cam IS a project and WILL take time to develop. Anyone who is unbiased knows this...and I believe Rivera does as well.

That is why I think it is very unlikely that he starts early in the season. Guy is no more ready at the NFL level than Jimmy was last year.

I've never trolled, I've given an honest and accurate analysis of Cam's game.

His two best players are runs:

1. Not a good sign about his passing.

2. Our defense still can't stop the run.

Cam completes all his passes first time through. Clausen back in and promptly puts 89 in a position to get killed. Awful throw.

I'm stoked that Cam is performing so well but I'm also a little upset at how poorly Clausen is performing. I was hoping Clausen would have progressed since last year. If Clausen doesn't progress then they may as well give Pike a shot and if neither are living up to expectations then I guess Cam and Derek will be the gameday quarterback's.

      Yea, its a awful year for COY there's like 5 coaches Id as a  non-panther fan say are more worthy than Dave. Ben Johnson is doing similar to Dave by taking a yearly loser into a winner, but da bears are what 9-10 wins right now. Liam Coen has the fuging jags at 9-4 with similar talent to Panthers, I mean they drafted before them this pass year and had nearly zero from a guy they traded up for @#2 hunter.  ugh....Sean Payton&vance has the broncos as the current #1 seed in the AFC..... you know the broncos before the year starts you have the chiefs with mahomes&reid and chargers with herbo&harbs. No one had broncos winning there nor as a the #1 overall seed.  Mike Macdonald has the Seahawks at 10-3 compare that to Panthers 7-6, they are in a blood bath against Rams and 49ers.....shanny has half the team on IR with a 9-4 record.  Chargers are 9-4 with no OL and not much on D.  I have even put colts above Dave and the Panthers, if not for Danny injury...they were on the way and playing great. Just soooooooooooo many HC deserving this year and still more games, but Dave has over played this year for sure. I had them at a firm 2 win team, with 4 being the maybe and 7?!?!?!? being the everything goes right 7 wins is possible given the shitty NFC south.

      Just try to enjoy it for what it is. I don't need to convince myself that Young is good. He isn't. If this team makes the playoffs with the cinder block of Young dragging them down all season, even better.  But, some crucial things still need to happen, and being close, and moral victories, and at-least-they-tried isn't good enough.
