What is the Huddle's views on fraternities?

I don't think this view is huddle specific but imo, there are people who were in a Frat, then everyone else who are haters. Lol, just kidding. I enjoyed Frat life, it had its perks about it, I am sure if I didn't join a Frat, I would have been just fine. Being active in it, taught me some intangibles like leadership, recruiting, negotiations, comrodery. And there were other perks like sorority girls, formals, mountain weekends, Greek week events, competitions, having your own house on campus to party in.

I am glad I got to experience that life, it really did help me mature and grow as a man. My Frat was not your typical cookie cutter bunch of douchebags, which I think made my experience different than most.

I think we had a thread on this a while back. Everyone was pretty much half and half.

It goes both ways. Youve got the frattastic ones, the douche ones, both mixed together, more laid back ones, etc.

Where I went to college it was about 85% greek life. I wasn't in a sorority but all my friends were greek. I enjoyed chillin with guys from a couple frats and some of them are still my best friends today.

Some of the other fraternities were just horrible though.

Who has parties with no alcohol? Ridiculous

i didn't pledge a single one, but kinda wish i had. i did go to parties thrown by them almost every weekend, and routinely met poon at them. one can only imagine what it would have been like if i had been a brother and went to the mixers with the hot sorostitutes.

Paying for friends isn't my thing. I don't live in Carolina though so obviously people will have differing points of view than I do.

I was in one in college......many of my best friends back then remain so today. Good thing overall imo.

Brother and VP for undergrad.

Joined a professional one in grad school.

Excellent for networking, meeting people, and socializing.

Both did solid philanthropy work too.

No complaints from me.

Anyone that automatically has an opinion on all fraternities at every school should really question his or her willingness to generalize people, and one has to wonder if they do that sort of thing with other types of people.

Depends on the quality of the frat.

So peoples experience of fraternities vary. I almost was initiated into one, but I saw the writing on the wall and saw that it was a sinking ship, so me and my pledge brothers decided against joining, and we are still happy with the decision today.

I think the best frats are ones who dont take themselves too seriously, but at the same time they value their friendships inside the fraternity more than the actual fraternity. And, they have thriving friendships with people outside of that group.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
