Some rap from the 90s was good. 2pac, Biggie, early DMX, Fugees, Jigga, I could go on , but the past 10 years with the exception of jezzy and emenim have been terrible for rap, kinda like the 80s for rock.

Yes rap has falling off but there are still a lot of good rappers out there.

Lupe Fiasco, Kanye, Jay Electronica etc. I could go on.

OP theres alot of older people on this board so you gotta be very selective with your song choices because they can be very sensitive sometimes. A better choice would have been some bland country song or rock ballad from the 70s then they might of liked it. Just a word of advice for next time.

IDK maybe Im just getting older but those guys you just named sound like the cast of the Mickey mouse club. As for Jeezy, I like the fact the main point of his music is being gangster, nothin flashy just good old fashioned gangsta musik.
