No one remembers when he played like a champ with a cast on his arm? You ever play football with broken bones...

Its training camp...I'm growing tired of the huddle and its short memory.

Events like these suddenly disappear when a player doesn't haven't a 129394 Interception season with 2949394 tackles.

One of the main reasons why I truly hate this fanbase at times.

Playing with a broken bone doesn't make you a good player. An attribute to his toughness at that point, sure, but it doesn't make him good.

I've never been incredibly high on Gamble... Even when he was getting interceptions early in his career. Ints don't mean $hit, look at Nnamdi's career. I base my opinion on Gamble being repeatedly beat like a drum in the games I watch.

The same guy that lead a defensive backfield into one of the top 10 passing defenses continually for the past 2 or so years?

      Kalkbrenner and Sion James received regular contracts and not two ways, so the Hornets have some work to do to cut the roster size down.

      Gustavsson would be insane. I think we would have to break the bank to afford that move. Which, I don't think is necessarily a bad idea. Ultimately, Freddie isn't likely to be around more than a couple of seasons more. We can all agree that unless they have a fleet of sports psychologists working on Kochetkov, he will never be capable of getting his head on straight enough to compete.

      I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
